Reference deployment 03 / Instagram-first launches

Instagram Launch Monitoring: Stories, Posts and Reels

A launch desk needs selected public Instagram accounts as event sources, not an analytics dashboard. This deployment watches posts, Stories, Reels and carousels, preserves useful post context, and routes detections to the team or its own system.

Evidence basis

This is a reproducible reference deployment based on shipped 1322 behavior. It is not presented as a named-customer testimonial and makes no claim about trading returns. The operating figures below are typical ranges rather than an SLA.

  • The Instagram product ships posts, Stories, Reels and carousels for selected public accounts.
  • Available event context includes Collab, Paid partnership, Pinned and Location signals.
  • The product page distinguishes live account monitoring from profile analytics and documents the delivery entitlement.

The operating problem

  • Product and token launches can appear on Instagram before they are repeated on X or in news coverage.
  • Stories are ephemeral, while official account-owner APIs are not designed to monitor arbitrary public watchlists.
  • The team needs a focused event feed, not follower analytics, engagement reporting or a private-account viewer.

Deployment configuration

  • Create a tracked list of public founders, brands, athletes, artists or project accounts relevant to the launch desk.
  • Enable the delivery path the team actually uses: included Discord delivery, the hosted feed, or the WebSocket add-on for code.
  • Route selected events to Telegram or a signed webhook when the same post must reach operators or downstream automation.
  • Pair with X or news only when corroboration is worth the additional source subscription.

Event path

  1. A tracked public account publishes a Story, post, Reel or carousel.
  2. 1322 detects the event and preserves available caption, media and Collab, Paid, Pinned or Location context.
  3. The event reaches the hosted desk or the configured delivery route.
  4. The team decides whether to alert, archive externally or wait for confirmation from another source.

What changes operationally

  • The watchlist becomes a live event source rather than a set of profiles an operator refreshes manually.
  • Ephemeral Stories enter the same delivery workflow as durable posts and Reels.
  • A single Instagram feed can stand alone; the desk does not need to buy a six-platform bundle.

Limits and decisions

  • This deployment monitors public content only; it does not access private accounts or provide a private-account viewer.
  • It is a real-time feed rather than a historical archive or social-listening analytics suite.
  • No fixed Instagram latency number is promised; validate the chosen accounts and route in the live trial.
